TEENAGE PREGNANCY PROGRAM
The Teenage Services Act (TASA) was established to provide caseworker intervention to teenagers who are in receipt of Public Assistance, age 21 and under, who are parents or at risk of becoming parents. Services include caseworker counseling, information and referral, family planning, prenatal and primary health care, nutrition, child care, parenting skills training, transportation, vocational and employment services, budgeting, housing and advocacy. Agencies that can help provide these services include community based organizations, hospitals, family planning clinics or other county agencies.
